If you have a great story worth telling, and maybe even worth being cataloged in the Library of Congress, you finally have your chance.
StoryCorps has arrived at its temporary home in Cooper Riverside Park, and its inviting you to come for a sit-down.
StoryCorps is a traveling recording studio with a mission, and it’s not to record music; it’s to record stories from people like you and me.
A partnership with Alabama Public Radio has helped to bring StoryCorps to the Port City to record and archive our stories, and Mobilians of all ages and backgrounds are invited to participate.
Mayor Stimpson became our first storyteller yesterday, after the launch of StoryCorps’ month-long stint in Mobile.
